Bargain on Balboa

Oh, Look...even a white picket fence!

This is the lowest priced house on Balboa Island right now.

Very homey. I like the built in book shelves. I might move the TV and put a painting there.

Yes, a cozy seat by the fire. Nights are cool on Balboa in the winter. Don't you love those ceilings, too?

The ledge for pictures is nice. Lots of windows for that airy feeling.

Ooh, a farmhouse sink with a window. Nice open shelves. Pretty countertops.

Love the dutch door, too.

Nice little cottage only $1,685,000. This is why I'm still dreaming not buying. I think Huntington Beach might fit my budget more. And Huntington's not cheap either but within the realm of possibility!

Hugs, Susan

I hopped on over from JustABeachKat...Oh my goodness, I used to live there, in that vicinity on Bayside Dr. Any purchase there, make sure it has NEW copper plumbing thru out and for that price, it should! LOL The plumbing on the island is awful. I have several friends on the island and they all had to re-plumb the entire house & out to the main. And the parking is horrible too...especially during the summer months. Impossible to have people over. Truly the better cottage homes are in Corona del Mar, still beach front property, bigger cottages, white picket fences, a TON of charm. Corona del Mar has so many hidden charm houses...storybook, fairytale, you name it, its there. I used to live there as well, twas a sad, sad day when I moved.
