Mermaid Soap

I found this picture on Clarice's blog "Storybook Woods." I have it as a metal sign for Mermaid Soap. It's hanging in the master bathroom. That's where I have my "beachy" stuff until we move to the beach. I've been collecting mermaids, shells, shell themed dishes and beach pictures for about three years. I hope I get to put all these things in my beach cottage soon.

Don't you just adore shells? I have a growing collection that I keep in the cabana. I used to have a bathroom with shells in it - in our former house. If we ever do build a 'real' house on our farm, I plan to have another!

Thanks so much for the book review. I no longer just buy a book without a reference from someone ...as if I even have the time to read...ha ha..

I love that picture. I have printed it off the net to use in my altered book round robin.

There is a very similar picture by the same artist. Perhaps you will find that one day.

I love this picture! I have a thing for mermaids! I love being so close to the beach (1/2 mile) its where I walk every day. I think I get my strength from the ocean, its just such a calming place to be, unless there is a storm of course!
Have a wonderful weekend!
