Journey to the Center of the Earth

It was very hot yesterday so I thought what could be better than to sit in a cool theater and look at Brendan Frasier for a while. So I saw this:

I really enjoyed the movie. I think it's kind of a kid's movie. Pre-teens would love it for the special effects and action. I didn't get to see it in 3-D which I think the kids would really like.
For me, Brendan was enough especially when he wore a tank top. It's funny 'cos to me he's a kid but now he's playing the father figure. Seems like only yesterday he was "Encino Man." Time marches on...but on the inside I'm only about 25. I think we baby boomers will never grow up.

I'm with you, he is nice eye candy. But I think this is a movie I shall miss. Glad you enjoyed it though.

I love going to a movie when it's hot outside. It's a nice break for a few hours in the a/c and a diet coke. Then to excape to another place in time...how fun.

I'm going to try to come see you at Debra's Cottage on Sat. What time is the class over?

Hugs,
Joanne

Whoohoo! Brendan Frasier, a cool, dark theater and popcorn...my kind of 'alone time'!

So sorry I missed you today. I had my niece and thought I would be home in time to run down there before your class was over. But then I got a call saying my sister was running late. I just now got home 6:00pm.

One of these days I'm going to get there when you are there. Do you have any other classes coming up?

Hugs,
Joanne

Susan,

He is a cutie! So glad you enjoyed the movie. There's nothing like the movie theatre and the big screen. I'm another boomer who will join you in your quest. I think it's important to remain young at heart! Grow up? Never! LOL!

BTW, I followed you over from Rhoda's blog to tell you how much I appreciated your sweet comments about my Victorian. Thanks much!

I hope to come visit you again. If those are your roses on the top of the blog, I am JEALOUS! They're beautiful!

Wishing you the best,

Sheila

To Sheila,
Those are my roses. They are gifts I received when I was teaching. They're planted by my driveway.

I tried to visit your blog but couldn't get it to show your posts.
Thanks for coming to see me.

Ha ha - I like the saying "Time marches on ...and it is marching right across my face!"

Hey - I finally did a post about my horses..or at least one of them..and an explaination of why I have not posted about them more often.

Hi again, Susan! :-D

I put the blog up, but my computer went on the fritz so I haven't put anything on it yet. I have to borrow my husband's computer to even get online, and that's only at night. In a few weeks, I will try to be up and running. I love all of your lovely pictures. I want to be able to put some up for you to enjoy in return.

I'll come see you here again. I'm going to be computerless for a few days, but I plan to check back in when I can.

Looking forward to reading your blog! :-D

I like him, too! Why didn't his career "take off" like we all thought it would? He does alright, though. I might check this one out.

I know what you mean. I feel very young, but everyone seems even younger.

What's up with that? I guess, aging is not for the faint of heart.

We'll just grow older gracefully.

Good morning Susan sweetie! This movie hasn't come out over here yet, but it's looks like a good one to see when it does. I hope you are having a really lovely week, and a great day today!

Yeah Brenden Fraiser is a "hottie" as my daughter would say. Probably why I have seen The Mummy agazillion times. I haven't seen the new one yet. This movie sounds good especially nice sitting in an air conditioned theater for a couple of hours on a muggy day!
