The Queen Mary

I thought I'd share a few photos from the Queen Mary website. The Red Hat Society is having a birthday party there on Friday night. The Queen Mary is fun to visit. I haven't been for several years and it sounds like the tour has been divided up into several tours so it's probably a little more expensive now. It is interesting if you're into ships and the ocean. It's also supposed to be haunted.
I also loved the Poseidon Adventure which was filmed here. Anything to do with ocean liners turns me on!

This is the Observation Lounge Bar.

The hotel reception area on the Queen Mary. My husband and I stayed on the Queen Mary many years ago when the Disney Company ran the hotel.

Thanks for the birthday wishes...I have enjoyed looking around your blog a bit...I am hoping that your dress made it home from the cleaners in perfect order and that you are able to wear it for the Red Carpet event! Good luck...and have fun!

Blessings...

I almost cannot believe that I have never been on a cruise. It is surely one of those things that I must do soon. Thanks for the adorable post!

PS - no the wool went into the garbage because this was our first time and it was not cut into one "sheet"

Oh, guess what? I went all the way to California in 1989 just to see the Spruce Goose and the Queen Mary (going through my Howard Hughes phase) and drove all the way there the day I landed and the attractions were CLOSED. I am all choked up just thinking about it. Thank you for posting pictures... have fun at the party!

I have heard that the QM is haunted. Did you see or hear anything unusual?

Hi. I like your blog. Since you were talking about Queen Mary Hotel I would like to say that this I really high class hotel. It is not only about the comfort and luxury; the customer service is really great. There is nothing to complaint about. You pay a lot of money and you get the best out of it. There is a great site www.pissedconsumer.com, where you can read more of customer reviews.
