Good-bye to Ms. Palin

I'm sorry but I Just can't be in favor of someone who thinks it's OK to do the above to a creature as beautiful as this:

I tolerate hunting for those who eat what they kill. Afterall, I'm not a vegetarian and there's really no difference in morality if I go to the market for meat or someone goes hunting for it. But we don't eat wolves. Scientists say that when wolves are allowed to hunt the elk and caribou, that their herds are fine. The wolves kill the old and sickly in the herds. To me shooting a wolf is like shooting a dog. They have their place in nature and should be left alone. Putting a bounty on wolves and hunting them from airplanes is just wrong!
This post might upset people who like Ms. Palin and I'm not really into doing political blog posts but I do love animals and think that God put us in charge of them to take care of them not destroy them.

Oh how sad! I do not eat any meat because I am a big big animals lover.

I hate that anyone hunts for anything. I hate that animals are breed and raised just to kill so humans can eat them.

I hate that people cram animals in tiny cages and torture them because they think it's no big deal to hurt an animal or bird or fish.

However, I know it goes on every day. I only have control over myself and my own actions. So I do what I can, when I can and just pray that others stop hurting animals in any manner.

Hunting is a so called sport. How much sport can it be when one has a gun with a scope and the other is just out there trying to live.

Sad. Very sad.

It breaks my heart to hear stories of people who hunt for the "sport" of it.

But, even as much as I hate it I am still going to give my vote to Mccain. Why? Because I think he and Palin have done more good then bad.

While I feel Obama has done more bad then good.

I wish we could have someone run that was perfect and has never done anything bad or wrong but sadly we don't.

I know you didn't want to turn this into a big political debate so I won't go on about that.

I did want to say Good for you for standing up for animals and their rights.

Hugs,
Joanne

I agree with you 100%. It is horrible to call ourselves "civilized" when I see something done to animals like that! Hunting to eat is one thing, but for sport, NO WAY! People who do that are the real "animals". In the end, they answer to God, and I hope his judgement is swift and just!

Hi Susan

Remember me? Life has been sooooo C-R-A-Z-Y lately...but a good kind of crazy, so I can't complain even though it has kept me from visiting. But...I'm home now...for a week or so anyway. (Even though I'm sick with a cold AND a stomach virus, it's good to be home.)

I agree with your thoughts, but just like Joanne, I will still vote for McCain and Palin because I think they are the best ones for our country.

Hugs!
Kat

Hey there girl...This is really sad, but being a farm girl I do need to interject something. Now - I cannot say why they are shooting the wolves from the planes and I am not saying it is right either - but let me tell you something I have had to go through. We have had packs of domesticated dogs attack our local farm animals. I have seen it for myself and yes - they will even surround and attack a horse!...and I am not talking about an old broken down horse either.

This happened and I saw it at a farm just down the way from ours. The dogs - well - most likely they were dumped off by humans who thought that they would just "find" good homes out in the country. I view these dogs just as I would a pack of wolves and out comes my gun!
