My Little Camera

In frustration I got this little baby to carry in my purse. It was only $20. I know most of you are laughing at my cheapness but I'm still trying to get some instruction on the "good" camera. I need to be able to point and shoot while I'm out and about. We'll see!

Smooth Jazz Cares

"Smooth Jazz Cares" is a benefit for flood victims being held in Melborne, Florida this weekend.

Eddie's CD Release Party

Eddie Reddick is having a CD Release Party at the Village Inn on Balboa Island. The time is 6:30 pm on November 9th. This is for his new CD "Embracing the Bassix." Eddie is a wonderful bass player. He is in Art of Sax and has played bass with many famous bands. He's a great guy, lots of fun and very sweet. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the music!

Feeling Much Better

Yesterday I just had a melt-down. It hadn't happened for so long I forgot what it was like. It was one of those I just want to stay in bed and pull up the covers kind of days. A bunch of little things added up to feeling over whelmed. I guess I needed a good cry.

Off To Savannah

I'm off to Savannah Thursday morning at 6:45 AM! I can't wait!! Now if I were only meeting John Cusack there...I can dream, can't I?

Good-bye to Ms. Palin

I'm sorry but I Just can't be in favor of someone who thinks it's OK to do the above to a creature as beautiful as this:

I tolerate hunting for those who eat what they kill. Afterall, I'm not a vegetarian and there's really no difference in morality if I go to the market for meat or someone goes hunting for it. But we don't eat wolves. Scientists say that when wolves are allowed to hunt the elk and caribou, that their herds are fine. The wolves kill the old and sickly in the herds. To me shooting a wolf is like shooting a dog. They have their place in nature and should be left alone. Putting a bounty on wolves and hunting them from airplanes is just wrong!

This post might upset people who like Ms. Palin and I'm not really into doing political blog posts but I do love animals and think that God put us in charge of them to take care of them not destroy them.

Thankful Thursday

I'm thankful that I've been to some very beautiful places on my traveling adventures. I love to travel and I've been fortunate to be able to go places! I love seeing new things (to me) and meeting new people. God has given us such a beautiful world. Let's pray we can restore it and not ruin it.

Only 8 more days til I'm off to Savannah! I can't wait! This will be my last big trip this year ( probably for next year, too). I love to travel but I've got to save up some money again.
